Shining Light Christian Preschool was founded by myself, Lois Weaver in 2005.  We are located at Real Life Christian Church in Bend.   Our first school year started back in September 2006!  My family and I moved to Bend in 2004; before then I was a lifelong resident of Idaho!  I completed my schooling in 2000 at Boise State University where I received a Bachelors of Applied Science degree in Child Care and Development.

After graduation I taught a home preschool program for 2 to 5 year olds and a preschool program in a daycare setting for 4 and 5 year olds.  I also taught Sunday School for 5 years.   I also spent 3 years at home raising my 3 girls!  In 2004-2005 I ran a home preschool program just for my 3 year old!  I am so excited to be able to teach your children!
